He was born Dec 24,1952, in Wood County,son of the late George and Mamie Allman Cooper.
He enjoyed fishing,deer hunting,riding his four-wheeler and was Baptist by faith.
He is survived by one daughter, Lisa Essig of Parkersburg:two sons Delbert W Cooper Jr,and Duwayne Cooper, both of Parkersburg, one sister Ruth(Stan)Adkins of Mt.Alto, WV , one brother Ted Allman of Parkersburg; nine grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, Jeremy Cooper and an infant child, one sister,Shirley Underwood and one brother, George Lewis Cooper Jr.
Funeral services will be 1pm Saturday ,April 25,at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St, Parkersburg with Pastor Jerry Caplinger officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant View Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
