Joseph N. Weber, 68, 1972 E. CR 50, died suddenly at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, 1986, at his residence.

He was born March 15, 1917, in Tiffin, to Valentine and Josephine (Kaczmarowski) Weber. On Sept. 5, 1936, he married Marjorie Schindler, in St. Joseph Catholic Church. She preceded him in death in 1983.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George (Patricia) Turner and Mrs. William (Carol) Betz, both of Tiffin; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Andrew Weber of Cherokee Village, Ark., and John and Stanley Weber, both of Tiffin; and a sister, Mrs. Henry (Joan) Polter of Fremont. A son, James, is deceased.

Mr. Weber was a lifelong resident of Tiffin and a Navy veteran of World War II. He retired from Hayes-Albion Corp., in 1982, after 20 years of service. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, the American Legion and the Moose Lodge.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Church, with burial in the parish cemetery.

Calling hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Hoffmann-gottfried Memorial Funeral Home, where a rosary service will be conducted at 8 p.m.
