BAZINE — Jacob Bruntz, 83, died Thursday at
the Ness County Hospital, Ness City, after
a long illness.
Born Sept. 2, 1888, at Merkle, Russia, he
married Eva Brunz April 7, 1916. She died
Dec. 25, 1931.
He married Mollie Schmidt in 1934. She died
in 1935.
He was a retired farmer and lived here since
1919.
He was a member of the St.Paul
Congregational Church, Bazine.
Survivors include sons: Edward, Samuel,
Ruben and John, Bazine; daughters: Mrs.
Reuben Gumescheimer, Bazine; Mrs. Clarence
Daubert, Otis; Mrs. Dorothy Schoenhals,
Perryton, Tex.; step-son: Raymond Schmidt,
La Crosse; step-daughter: Mrs. Kenneth
Almquist, La Crosse; 22 grandchildren;
nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the
church; Rev. Joe Coachman. Burial will be
in Bazine Cemetery. Fitzgerald Funeral Home,
Ness City in charge of arragements.
