Alfred J. Berg, 86, 220 4th Ave., Edgar died Friday, Feb. 22, 1991, at his home.
He farmed in the town of Cassel for 60 years, retiring in 1972. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and neighborhood card clubs.
Survivors include his wife, Olive Berg, Edgar; four sons, Charlie (Pat) Berg, Athens: Len (Judy) Berg, Edgar; Mike (Beth) Berg, Vadnais Heights, Minn.; Paul (Debby) Berg, Edgar; four daughters, Marion (Alex) King, Green Bay; Bea Timm, Birnamwood; Ruth (Charles) Rogan, Wausau; Pauline (Jerry) Krautkramer, Marathon; one sister, Joan Dahlke, Halder; 33 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar, followed by the Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, Edgar. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar, and again from 8 a.m. Monday until time of services at the funeral home. There will be a parish rosary at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
