Sharon Anne Kistler was born September 2, 1943, in Portland, Oregon, the daughter of John and Velma (Woodward) Kistler. She attended Girls Polytechnic and went to Western Business School.
There were so many hobbies and activities that she loved, and most of them she shared with her Mother, like ceramics, sewing, knitting, and oil painting. One of Sharon's hobbies was playing the organ and she took lessons at the family church, Westminster Presbyterian Church in Portland. She and her Mother enjoyed going on tours together but Sharon also went on a few alone. She travelled outside the United States to Italy, Israel, Greece, Spain, and China.
Sharon was totally involved with genealogy and was a volunteer at the library of The Museum of the Oregon Territory in Oregon City.
Sharon was diagnosed with cancer and died at home with her Mother at her side.
