Henry Yurk
Henry Yurk, 54 of 730 N. 9th St., died at St. Nicholas Hospital at 1 a.m. today following a three-week illness.
He was born in Sheboygan Oct. 30, 1903, a son of the late Henry and Marie Yurk. He attended Sheboygan public schools and was confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. A commercial fisherman by trade, Mr. Yurk was employed by the Smith Bros. Co. He was a member of the American Legion and for many years bowled with the Legion's team.
He never married and is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Reinhold (Julia) Fritz of Sheboygan and Mrs. Arthur (Mildred) Hamburg of California. His parents and two sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at the Ballhorn Funeral Chapels at 1:30 p.m. Monday, and burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery. The Rev. Karl Schulz, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate.
Friends may call at the funeral chapels after noon Sunday.
