Our loving Mother, Ann Sieb Sauer, age 88, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 28, 2005 of causes incident to her age. Born January 17, 1917 in Gering, Nebraska to George and Margaret Reifschneider Sieb. Educated in NB. Married Peter Louis Sauer on January 10th, 1937 in Harrisberg, Nebraska. Pete and Ann moved to Salt Lake City in 1943. She owned and operated the Shalimar Beauty Salon. She retired in 1988. Her husband Pete, passed away March 7, 1988. She is survived by her children: Mrs. Willmetta Dotte (Dick) Smith, Mrs. Carole (Roger) Monsen, Jr., Mr. Pete L. (Cheryl) Sauer, Jr., Debra Sauer. 11 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren. She has one living sister, Mrs. Minnie (John) Baum, Gering, Nebraska. Preceding Ann in death were brothers and sisters: Natalie (Dolly) Deines, Caroline Manwieler, Mary Relka, Carl Sieb, David Sieb, Amy Able, Matilda Loose, Susie Sieb, Katie Fritzler, Ben Sieb, Jake Sieb and Susanne Gay. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Murray City Cemetery, 5490 South Vine Street, Murray, Utah, under the direction of Christ Lutheran Church of Murray. Family and friends may visit prior to service from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, Murray. The family expresses their heartfelt appreciation to the management and staff of the Alta Ridge Senior Alzheimer Center and the Hospice CNS Care Givers and Nurses for the loving and professional assistance they showered on our Mother. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made in Ann's name to the Community Nursing Services Hospice, 6949 High Tech Drive, Midvale, Utah 84047.
