Rosary for David G. Martinez, 31, of Nampa, who died Sunday, April 12, at a Boise hospital, will be recited Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa, by the Rev. Merle J. Fisher. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
Mr. Martinez was born July 27, 1955, to Joseph R. and Lucy Auntunes Martinez at Nampa, where he was reared and educated.
He married Sandra Bieker in July 1977 in Nampa, where they had since made their home.
He worked as a firefighter for the Bureau of Land Management.
He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa.
He is survived by his wife of Nampa; a son, Raymond Carmon Martinez of Nampa; a daughter, Jonna Tie Martinez of Nampa; his mother, Lucy Rodriguez of Nampa; three brothers, Francisco Martinez of Berkeley, Calif., Manuel Martinez of Nampa and Edward Martinez of Norwalk, Calif.; four sisters, Mary Helen Nieto, Delores Martinez and Lisa Alvarado, all of Nampa, and Josephine Martinez of Honolulu, Hawaii; and several nieces and nephews.
