FUNERAL OF MRS. TICHENOR
The funeral of Mrs. Margaret G. Tichenor, widow of Edmund J. Tichenor, who died Friday at the home of her son, William J. Tichenor, No. 144 S. Tenth avenue, will be held this evening at the residence at 8 o'clock. Mrs. Tichenor was particularly prominent for years in the First M. E. Church, in which she was exceedingly active. She had charge of a class for a long time and she was also concerned in religions work In New York City.
She came to Mount Vernon 14 years ago, from New York City. She was 66 years of age, and the cause of her death was heart failure. She Is survived by three sons, Frank M., William J., and Edmund L,. and three daughters, Mrs. W. H. Whitney, Mrs. George B. Crawford, and Miss Carrie L. Tichenor.
The services tonight will be conducted by Rev. George Clark Peck D. D., pastor of the First M. E. Church who will probably be assisted by Rev. Herbert Welch, pastor of the Chester Hill M. E. Church, who Is a relative. [husband of Adelaide Frances McGee, dau of James A. McGee, Margaret's half brother]
