Friends are being received at the Maloy Funeral Home in Duquesne for Peter M. Dietzen, 81 of 220 W. Oliver Ave., who died Tuesday at his home. Solemn high mass of requiem will be sung Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, by the Rev. P. J. Bernarding. Burial will follow in St Mary's Cemetery, Ross Twp. Mr. Dietzen was a son of the late Joseph and Margaret Zewe Dietzen. He was a pensioned employee of the Duquesne Works, U.S. Steel Corp. He was a member of St Joseph's Church and its Holy Name Society and had been a church committeeman for 30 years before his illness. He was a member of the Knights of St. George. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Carolyn Schenkel Dietzen. (Duquesne Times Dec 18, 1958)
