Stella (Zima) Kulik, 94, of Church Street, Collinsville, wife of the late Michael Kulik, died Monday (July 19, 2010) at Amberwoods of Farmington. She was born February 5, 1916 in Burlington, daughter of the late Macie and Helen (Munich) Zima and had lived in Burlington prior to moving to Collinsville 72 years ago.

Mrs. Kulik worked for Hurley Manufacturing in New Hartford for 30 years prior to her retirement. Stella was a member of St. Patrick's Church and Ladies Guild in Collinsville. She enjoyed working in her yard, cooking and being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Grace Kulik of Southwick, MA; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Marjorie and David Shaffer of Burlington, Anna and Wayne Pelkey of Canton and Mary Ann Thompson of New Britain; her brother, Walter Zima of Barkhamsted; two sisters, Marjorie King of Canton and Josephine Kilduff of Burlington; her 13 grandchildren, Sandra, Lori, Kimberly, Michael, Karen, Sharon, Linda, Howard, Lisa, David, Dale, Jeffrey and Susan; 26 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Benjamin Zima; three sisters, Rose, Sophie and Ann and her grandson, Butch Thompson.

Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike, Canton on Thursday, July 22nd from 4-8 p.m. Funeral will be Friday (July 23, 2010) 9:45 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Collinsville. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Collinsville.
