Jessica is survived by her son, Michael Jaekel at home; parents, Brent and Sue Jaekel of Gibbon; sister and brother-in-law, Nicole and Jeremy Rieke of Gibbon; nephews, Spencer Rieke, Alexander Rieke, Maxwell Rieke; and an uncle, Robert Ness of Gibbon. She was preceded in death by her grandparent; Ernest and Emma Ness, Harry Jaekel, Edgar and Ella Niebuhr.
Jessica Sue Jaekel was born on November 20, 1971 in Gaylord to Brent and Susan (Ness) Jaekel. She graduated from MVL and then graduated from Ridgewater College in Hutchinson with a degree in nursing. Jessica worked many years as an LPN at the Fairfax Community Home in Fairfax. She was a life long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon.
