CORYDON DEMOCRAT OBITUARY – 2005

Timothy F. Rainbolt, 43, Corydon, died Thursday, June 2, 2005, at his home. A native of Corydon, born November 27, 1961, he was the son of Elmer & Virginia Sue Miller Rainbolt of Corydon. He was a diesel mechanic and #1 shop tech at Whayne Supply Co. in Louisville, a member of Hursttown United Methodist Church near Corydon, a past scoutmaster for Troop 22 and a former lieutenant reserve officer for the Harrison County Sheriff's Dept. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Rainbolt, on August 10, 2002. Survivors include 2 sons, Shaun Rainbolt and Gavinn Alstott, both of Corydon; a daughter, Brittany Rainbolt of Corydon, and 2 brothers, David Rainbolt of Charlestown and Mike Rainbolt of Fredericksburg. Funeral: Monday, June 6, at Hursttown United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Officiant: Pastor Rod Shelton. Pallbearers: Andy Wright, Jim Lay, Derek Elbert, Brad Keen and Mike & David Rainbolt.
