JOHN H. ZIMMERLE
John Henry Zimmerle was born on May 7, 1880, at Sutton, Nebraska, and died January 9, 1960 at Fullerton Memorial Hospital. As a boy he was baptised in the Evangelical Lutheran Church at Sutton.
On December 21, 1899 he was married to Miss Ada Osborn in the Mt. Zion community west of Fullerton, and they made their home in the Fullerton and Belgrade communities with the exception of nine years spent on a farm near Winner, South Dakota. They observed their Sixtieth Wedding anniversary last December 21.
He is survived by his wife, and by five daughters and a son: Mrs. Inez Taylor of Chadron, Mrs. Mona Neumann* of Grand Island, Mrs. Norma Killinger of Wolbach, Mrs. Leota Wagner of Fullerton, Mrs. Willa Ballard of Healdsburg, California, and John Zimmerle of Omaha. Among other relatives are 27 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
Rev. H. M. Jones conducted the funeral services at the Evangelical-United Brethren Church in Fullerton on January 11 and burial was in the Main Cemetery at Belgrade.
