Robert Kegerreis Sr.

Robert E. Kegerreis Sr., 63. of 9779 Eden Drive, died Tuesday evening, May 21, 1991, in St. Thomas Township while working in a neighbor's orchard. Death was attributed to natural causes.
Born April 24, 1928 in Letterkenny Township, he was the son of Cora Friese Kegerreis of Shook Home and the late Frank Kegerreis.
In April 1990, he retired with 25 years of service from James River Corp. He also was in the lumber business for 18 years, having worked for Grove Brothers Lumber.
He was a member of St. Thomas Sportsmens Association.
Besides his mother, surviving are his wife, G. Jean Seiders Kegerreis; six children: G. Vaughn of Hanover; Robert J. of Tampa, Fla.; Shirley J. Metts of Leavenworth, Kan.; Gary E. of Chambersburg; and Robert E. and Dawn E. both at home; 10 grandchildren; four sisters: Isabelle Shatzer of St. Thomas; June Wenger of Fayetteville; and Shirley Sites and Faye Group, both of Chambersburg; and two brothers, Paul of Fayetteville and James of Greencastle. Three brothers preceded him in death.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Park-Geisel Funeral Home Inc. The Rev. I. Kenneth Cornelius will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
