Vivian Jeanette Burkholder, 74, of 11202 Tanglewood Court, Hagerstown, died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003, at Washington County Hospital. Born April 19, 1928, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Lillian Deatrich Renner.

She was formerly employed by Fairchild Aircraft and Old Orchard Supermarket. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her husband, Clayton H. Burkholder; two daughters, Patti Moats and Lisa Hutzel, both of Hagerstown; two sons, Clayton L. Burkholder and Brian H. Burkholder, both of Hagerstown; two sisters, Ruth Woodward of Jacksonville, Fla. and Arlene Cornell of Hagerstown; two brothers, Earl D. Renner of Hagerstown and Kenneth S. Renner of Marlowe, W.Va.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna K. Burkholder; two sisters, Lillian V. Burkholder and Charlotte M. Sisler; and two brothers, Harry Renner and Joseph Renner.

Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, Hagerstown. The Rev. Scott P. Bellows will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
