WEST TEXAS CITY—

Martin Anthony Lyons was born to Stephanie A. Lynch and Kent McCoy Lyons on October 30, 1986 in La Marque, Texas. He attended public school in Galveston County and was a loving son, nephew, grandson and brother. He was a devoted caretaker of Dice and Lisa, his pets that he loved dearly.

Martin was called home to see the Lord at an early age. He received his eternal rest on Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Mainland Medical Center in Texas City and is preceded in death by his grandmother, Angie Lyons. Martin touched the lived on many family members and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Stephanie Lynch (Nathaniel); his father, Kent Lyons (Paula); his grandmothers, Pastor Hilda Lynch and Sharon Celestine; grandfathers, Lawrence Walker (Tornmie Dell), Joseph Sonnier (Vealla); his brothers, Ronnie Lynch and Kennedy Lyons; his sister, Kendal Lyons; his aunts, Stacy Mickens (Cory), Rosezelia Sonnier (Stacey), LaKeisha Walker and Latone Sonnier; his uncle, Tego Robinson; a devoted cousin, Anthony Sonnier and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Visitation will begin after 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 18th at the Mainland Funeral Home Chapel in La Marque, followed by a wake from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2005, at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 227 4th Avenue North in Texas City with Pastor L. D. Johnson, officiating. Burial will follow services at Mainland Memorial Cemetery in Hitchcock.
