At Grand River Hospital (Freeport), on Sunday, June 05, 2011, Marianne Montgomery of Kitchener, formerly of Wingham age 56 years. The former Marianne Krohn, dear friend and companion of John Pick of Kitchener. Mother of Tabatha and Sean Kieffer of Beamsville, Joe Montgomery of Kitchener and Shannon Veillette and friend Adam Turcotte of Calgary. Loving grandmother of Brady, Bryce, Keagan, Jesse, Ashley, Sarah, Brandon and Austin. Sister of Ruth and Bill Martin of Teeswater, Wayne Krohn of Vancouver B.C., Pat Stacey of Teeswater, Fred and Eleanor Krohn of Wingham, Charlene and John Herd of Kitchener and Stanley Krohn of Kincardine. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Elizabeth (Laidlaw) Krohn, four sisters and seven brothers. Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham, Ontario on Tuesday, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating. Interment in Wingham Cemetery, Wingham, Ontario. Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
