Robert A. "Buddy" Stauder, a retired engineer for the Illinois Central Railroad, died Friday at East Jefferson General Hospital. He was 77. Mr. Stauder was born in New Orleans and lived in Harahan for the past 46 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Survivors include his wife, Alma Boudreaux Stauder; two sons, Robert and David Stauder; three daughters, Alma S. Pisciotta, Rita S. Johnson and Linda Stauder; two brothers, John and Francis Stauder; two sisters, Joan Chenevert and Mary Wille; and eight grandchildren. A Mass will be said today at noon at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Lake Lawn Park.
