"Dean Reason loses life in auto accident"
"This community was shocked Friday morning to hear of the tragic death of Dean Reason, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Reason of this place as the result of an accident late Thursday night. the deceased was in the oil and gasoline business in Lansing and had a number of oil stations scattered around this section and southern Michigan."
"In 1934 he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Wilson of Pinckney." Two daughters were born to this union, Sally Ann and Betty Lou, who survive him."
