ROSSVILLE Gary Lynn Oliver, 48, departed this life Monday, June 3, 2013, at his home.He was born in Fort Oglethorpe, to the late George and Viola Oliver. He was an employee at Shaw Industries for 13 years and was of the Baptist faith.He was also preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Goforth; and grandson, Braden Oliver.Survivors include his wife, Sherri Oliver; daughter, Amanda Oliver, both of Rossville; siblings, Michael Oliver, of Kensington, Carolyn Tackett, of Rossville, Marcia Barrett, of Chickamauga; granddaughter, Carly; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013, in the chapel with the Rev. David Cordell officiating.Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.Family will receive friends from 2 until 8 p.m. today and prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes, Fort Oglethorpe.
