∼OBITUARY OF BETTY FUNK
MOUNT PLEASANT, UT - Betty FUNK, 12, daughter of the late Jesse FUNK and Stella Neilsen FUNK, now postmistress at Callahan, Colorado, died Thursday afternoon at a hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado, according to work received here by relatives.
Death was due to scarlet fever following an operation for appendicitis. She was born in Mount Pleasant, March 09, 1924.
Surviving are her mother; a brother, Billy; the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin FUNK, Callahan, Colorado, and Mr. and Mrs. Christian Neilsen TANNER, Mount Pleasant.
The body will be brought to Mount Pleasant Saturday. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Jacobs' Mortuary.
