Joseph A Volk, 80, North Avenue, Millbrook, died Sept 27 at St Francis Hospital. Born in Kingston Oct 7, 1885, he was the son of the late Conrad and Catherine Schatzel Volk. He was a former sheet metal worker and retired eight years ago. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St Joseph's Church, Millbrook. Mr. Volk is survived by his wife, the former Anna Rassmen; a son, John F, Pleasant Valley; a daughter, Mrs Paul (Anne) Knoblauch, Pleasant Valley; a grandson, Matthew; a sister, Mrs I. Delameter, Kingston; a brother, John, Kingston; two nieces. A son, Lt. Joseph C. Volk, died in 1944
