Betty loved cross-stitch, knitting, camping in Birchwood and spending time with her family. She was also an avid fan of WRYSA girls softball tournaments.
Betty is survived by her husband, George Wirtz; five children, Gregory (Sandra) Wirtz of Wisconsin Rapids, Jeannette (Alan) Smorynski of Greenleaf, Juanita (Michael) Yost of Brookfield, Sheila (Michael) Winegarden of Caledonia, and Jeffery (Mary) Wirtz of Port Edwards; nine grandchildren, Chris (Dennis) Duda, Heather Wirtz, Jason Smorynski, Sarah (Chad) Stormoen, Nathan Winegarden, Michelle (Jason) Tyson, Jackie (Matt) Patterson, Jessica (Scott) Nelson and Jenny Wirtz; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Russell Larsen.
