Henrietta was born February 13, 1922 in Newton Falls, N.Y. the daughter of Loren and Ella Zehr Christian. She graduated from Dexter High School in 1939 and graduated from Newcomb's Beauty Academy of Watertown.
She worked at her parents restaurant named Christians Restaurant in Dexter which they owned for over 30 years. She opened a beauty shop in Dexter for three years.
She married Raymond Taft and that marriage ended in divorce. She married Abe Bunk on November 11, 1953 at the Presbyterian Manse in Dexter. They owned and operated the Dexter Inn for 3 years. Mr. Bunk died July 4, 1981.
She was a member of Dexter Fire Dept. Auxiliary and Dexter American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by a granddaughter Mrs. Michael Wendy O'Donnell of Dexter, great grandchildren Alisha Shepard and Russell Shepard 3rd. of Dexter, a son-in-law Coleman Hinckley of Cape Vincent and cousins.
She was predeceased by her daughter Judy Hinckley March 7, 1998 and a sister Lucille Brown December 16, 2004.
Funeral services will be Monday 11:00 A.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Rev. Penny Farrington, pastor of Evans Mills Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
