Ida E. Myers Milne, 85, of Crofton, Kentucky, died Thursday, October 5, 2000, in Hopkinsville, KY. She was born January 16, 1915, in Briex, Czechoslovakia, the daughter of Edward Edmond Thiel and Edeltraut Jahn Thiel.
Preceding her in death was her first husband, Charles W. Myers and her second husband, Alex H. Milne.
Survivors include her sons, Ben J. Myers of Beaumont, TX, Fred R. Myers of Crofton, KY, and Michael C. Myers of Fredericktown; brothers, Heinz Thiel and Kurt Thiel, both of Germany; and sister, Waltraut Niekol of Germany.
A self-employed seamstress, Mrs. Milne was a member of the Methodist faith.
Private services were October 7, 2000 in Hopkinsville. Burial was October 14, at Marcus Memorial Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were handled by Maddus Funeral Home in Hopkinsville and Follis & Sons Funeral Home in Fredericktown.
