Mrs. Stewart was born Aug. 29, 1916, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Daniel J. Friedrich and Anna Walsh Friedrich.
Helen moved to Sharon with her family in the early 1920s
and attended the former Sacred Heart parochial grade school,
Sharon.
She was a 1934 alumna of Sharon High School.
Prior to her marriage, Helen was a telephone operator for
Bell Telephone Co. in downtown Sharon.
She married Harold R. Stewart, June 29, 1939.
A homemaker, she was a member of Church of the Sacred
Heart, Sharon. Helen enjoyed reading, flower gardening, crocheting and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents; infant twin sisters, Anna Marie Friedrich and Margaret Clara Friedrich; and eight brothers, Robert, Edward, Daniel II, Charles, William, Kevin, Raymond and John Friedrich.
Interment: St. Mary's Cemetery.
