Muncie – David J. Donovan, 49, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
David was born in Muncie on July 23, 1963, the son of Billy Lee and Mary Jo (Sailors) Donovan, and was a graduate of Muncie Central High School.
Mr. Donovan was a cook for over 13 years at several local restaurants, and he worked for Main Street Furniture for 10 years.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Donovan; two daughters, Cassandra Donovan, Utah, and Samantha Donovan, California; two step-daughters, Katie Ullman, (husband-Rick), Muncie, and Nicole Bell, Muncie; a son, Joseph Bell, Muncie; a step-son, Donnie Bell (wife-Jen), Westchester, Pennsylvania; three sisters, Billie Barton, (husband-Ron), Muncie, Misty Smith, California and Jeniffer Foreman, Indianapolis; two brothers, Jeff Donovan, (wife-Dawn), Muncie, and Michael Smith, (wife-Milissa), Yorktown; three grandchildren, that he was raising; 23 step-grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; his step-son, Daniel Keith Bell Sr.
