David H. Boge
1871 - 1919
FATHER

This community was shocked to learn of the death, just before noon, on February 6th, of Mr. David Boge at his home on North Main Street of pneumonia. He had been sick only about a week.

The funeral was held Saturday at 2 p. m., at the home, the Lutheran minister officiating.

Mr. Boge was an industrious kindly man, a kind husband and father, was of German parentage, but he was always loyal to U. S.

Leaves a wife, and seven children, parents, brothers and sisters and many friends to mourn his passing. He was a comparatively young man. He married Miss Emma Hegemeister of the place about 23 years ago. He was Lutheran. One little boy preceded him "Over the River" several years ago. Sincere sympathy is expressed for all the family. Mr. Boge was born in 1871, being 48 years old. His son Archie is contemplating staying at home. A Large crowd attended the services.
