H.P. Christensen Former Resident of Central Dies

Body Brought From Salt Lake For Interment Here

Hans Peter Christensen of Salt Lake City, until the last two years a resident of Sevier County, passed away at the family residence in Salt Lake Friday. The body was brought to his former home, Central, for funeral services, held Wednesday, and interment took place in the Richfield Cemetery. A full account of the services will be given next week.

Hans Peter Christensen was born in Denmark August 4, 1859. He came to Utah in 1881 and settled in Central, making his home there until two years ago, when he went to Salt Lake City, and to Torrington, Wyoming to live with members of his family.

Mr. Christensen was successful in farming and stock raising, and was an active citizen of this community and county.

Surviving are four sons, Axell, of Torrington, Wyoming;
Parley of Central; Peter of Riverton and Leslie of Salt Lake; three daughters, Mrs. Katie Olsen of Ephraim, Mrs. Florence Smith of Salt Lake, Mrs. Gladys Christensen of Redmond; 26 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
