Mildred was a resident of Selma for 69 years. This is where she and her husband Floyd Neufeld raised their two children Sharen and Dale. Selma was also where Mildred worked as the bookkeeper for her husband's local business Floyd's Auto. She did this 15 more than years.
She took such pride in her family; she was a very active and involved mother. Mildred would encourage her children to participate in local parades and would even help make the floats. Her children have fond memories of Camping trips with the tear drop and tent trailers. They also remember how much time she devoted to the cabin at Bass Lake her love for entertaining there as well as her love for boating, water skiing and taking rides in Floyd's Jeep.
Mildred's favorite Holiday was Christmas; this was displayed through the formal dinners hosted at her home throughout the years. She was also a very active member of a local bowling league, a local golf league (where she got a hole in one) and the Rebecca Lodge. Mildred also had a passion for oil painting, dance and writing; she even wrote a book about her children. As the years passed, Mildred kept busy keeping memories alive through picture albums. She had every moment captured and wanted to preserve them for her future generations.
She is preceded in death by her husband Floyd Neufeld, and two grandsons; Robert Neufeld and Michael Richardson.
Mildred was survived by her children Sharen Richardson and husband Glen of Selma and son Dale Neufeld of Selma, her grandchildren Ron Neufeld, Don Neufeld, Stephen Richardson and wife Laura, granddaughter in-law Dixie Richardson, her great grandchildren Zachariah Neufeld, Ross Neufeld, Sabrina Neufeld, Kathrin Neufeld, Travis Neufeld, Jennifer Ayon and husband Freddie, Brittany Lewis and husband Tom, Jeremy Richardson, Jordaan Richardson, Jayde Richardson, Jazmin Richardson and her great- great granddaughter Delilah Ayon.
