Diana Lynn (Roberts) Fricke, 63, of Lewellen, died Sunday, July 7, 2013 at the Ogallala Community Hospital.
She was born December 17, 1949, the daughter of Jack and Evelyn (Steger) Roberts. She grew up and attended school at Ogallala and was a 1968 Ogallala High School graduate. From 1968-2012, she was employed with American Schizuki, formerly known as TRW.
On November 9, 1980, she married Doug Fricke, Sr. and they made their home in Ogallala, until moving to Lewellen in 2000. Together, they started Doug's Well Repair business.
Among her hobbies were the outdoors, camping and fishing, crocheting, caring for her dogs, Megan and Rio (The Girls), and taking her grandchildren to the Black Hills.
Survivors include her mother, Evelyn Roberts of Ogallala; her husband, Doug of Lewellen; three children, Christi (Larry) Meyer of Sutherland, Jeff (Madeline) Lamm of Holyoke, CO, and Shawn (Sara) Fricke of North Platte; step-son, Doug Fricke Jr. of Avoca; step-daughter, Tracy (Chris) Jaeger of Cheyenne, WY; sister, Pamela (Mark) Spurgin of Ogallala; brothers, Ray Roberts of Brule, Jerry (Lori) Roberts and Richard Roberts all of Ogallala; ten grandchildren, Katiana Meyer, Alissa Meyer, Mikayla Meyer, Cody Lamm, Tyler Lamm, Alex Lamm, Nickolas Fricke, McKenzie Fricke, James Jaeger and Wyatt Jaeger; one great-grandchild; and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Cremation was chosen. Memorial Services will be 10:30 a.m. MT Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in the New Hope Church with Pastor Eric Wait officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Ash Hollow Cemetery in Lewellen. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home in North Platte is in charge of arrangements.
