Mrs. Judy L. James, age 51, of Henley, Missouri passed away peacefully Monday July 8, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Judy was born September 16, 1961, in St Louis County, Missouri, the daughter of Joseph and Marie Geers Hebenstreit. She was married on April 7,1984 in Overland, Missourito Randy James.
A resident of the Central Missouri area since 1981, Judy was a 1979 graduate of St Anthony High School in St Louis, Missouri.
She was employed with Busch's Florists for several years until ill health forced her into retirement.
In her free time, Judy enjoyed working in her yard and reading her Bible. Most of all she cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of twenty nine years, Randy James; two sons, Randy James (Cherri) of Henley, Missouri and Jesse James (Rebecca) of Wentzville, Missouri; two daughters, Carrie James of Jefferson City, Missouri and Sherry Childers ( Scott) of Henley, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Aleasha James, Alyssa James, Jordan James, Aiden James, Ashtin James, Tyler Childers. and Aijah James, She is also survived by her two brothers, Joey Hebenstreit (Brenda) of St Louis, Missouri and Kurt Hebenstreit (Erin) of St Louis, Missouri; six sisters, Jill Vaughn (Jim) of St Louis, Missouri, Gail Mirbaha (Bob) of St Louis, Missouri, Margo Mohesky (Doug) of St Louis, Missouri, Eileen Fitzgerald (Pat) of Arnold, Missouri, Michelle Jewell Schnittker (Will) of St Louis, Missouri and Peggy Driscoll of St Louis, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 4:00-7:00p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Immanuel Baptist Church from 10:00-11:00a.m. Friday, July 12, 2013.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00a.m. Friday July 12, 2013 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Reverend Shane Crum officiating.
Those desiring may make memorial contribution to the Judy James Memorial Fund.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
