Frank Gully pictured in his band uniform. He played the baritone, ca 1906, during his two year college life.

He had a girlfriend named Mathilda but they never married. He lived many years with his father Joe Gully until Joe's death in 1948.

Frank was born on his parent's land north of Highway 11 in Liberty Grove Township. He owned and farmed north and south of Hwy 11 east of Lidgerwood.

In later life, he wintered in Hankinson and during the summers stayed at the Gully home place south of Hwy 11 where he shared the farmstead with his brother George and family. Frank had his own small farmhouse. He enjoyed fishing and actually farm raised bullheads in a tank on the north side of his summer cottage. Frank was a good guy. written by Gregory Dorr
