Frank was born on his parent's land north of Highway 11 in Liberty Grove Township. He owned and farmed north and south of Hwy 11 east of Lidgerwood.
In later life, he wintered in Hankinson and during the summers stayed at the Gully home place south of Hwy 11 where he shared the farmstead with his brother George and family.
