Cecelia C. Otremba, 81 a resident of Little Falls, died Aug. 29, 2005, at her home in Little Falls.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Sept. 1 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Little Falls with Father Nick Landsberger officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Cecelia was born Oct. 1, 1923, in Buckman to the late Peter and Barbara (Drushba) Denzen. Cecelia attended school in Buckman. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Otremba on June 10, 1947, in a double wedding with her sister Emma and Doyle Wilson. The couple made their home in Little Falls. Lawrence passed away on Feb. 3, 1999, in Little Falls. Cecelia continued living in Little Falls after Lawrence's death. She was a member of St. Mary 's Catholic Church, American Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary. Cecelia enjoyed the casino, reading, playing cards, scrabble and fishing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Cecelia is survived by her children, Barb Madden and husband Mike of Maple Grove, Kathy Krupke of St. Cloud, Joyce Beadling and husband Rich of Rochester, Joan Dubbin and husband Dan of Little Falls, Larry Otremba and Chris Busby of Minneapolis, Tim Otremba and wife Sherrie of Little Falls; brother Bill Denzen of Little Falls; sister Emma Wilson of San Clemente, CA; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence on Feb. 3, 1999; sisters, Helen Boltz, Katherine Lochner and Sr. Virgil Denzen.
