A Lutheran by faith, she was a lifelong member of St. James. Beginning as a child, Viola was always a hard worker, helping pick cotton and corn on the family farm. Later she worked partime at Cameron's Store in Bellville. Viola loved doing anything outside, especially gardening, even selling vegetables on Staurday mornings in Bellville.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Diana Hold of Kenney, grandchildren Justin Hold and fiance Eryn Green of Kenney and Kimberly Wade and husband Christ of Brenham, nephew Dr. Don R. Bosse and wife Adrienne of Bellville and niece Carol Bosse of Austin, Texas. Funeral services here held Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at St. James.
