Anna Elizabeth Bastian was born most likely at the Blue Ball Inn owned by her parents, George and Mary (Brion) Bastian in what was then Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. In June of 1840, Anna Married Carl Klump whose parents were also original settlers of what is now Jackson Township, Lycoming County. They had 10 children as recorded in the Friedens Lutheran Church book. After the civil war, the family relocated along with Annas' brother George Bastian and family to Kent County, Delaware.
