HIGHMORE – Mrs. Emma McTague, 91, of Highmore, died Wednesday at Highmore Nursing Home.
The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, Highmore, with the Rev. Orland Sloat officiating. Burial will be in Highmore City Cemetery.
Mrs. Emma McTague was born Dec. 28, 1888, at Cedar County, Iowa, to Chris and Magdelena Tuft Schubert. She married John McTague in Minneapolis, Minn., and lived in Rock Rapids, Iowa, for many years.
She moved to a Highmore area farm in 1919 and into Highmore in 1933. In 1971 she entered the nursing home here.
Survivors include one son, Raymond, Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Evelyn Cermak and Hulda Buechler, both of Highmore; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, one daughter, one sister and four brothers.
