Roy Clayton Hewitt, 81 of Plum City died Saturday, March 16, 1991 at Chippewa Calley Hospital in Durand. He was born August 14, 1909 in Union Township, Pierce County; son of Clarence and Sophia Olson Hewitt. He attended the Union School.
November 28, 1938 he married Agnes Magnusson in Plum city. They farmed in Union Township until 1968 when they retired and moved to the Village of Plum City. Since January 1, 1991 they have resided at Plum City Care Center.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes; brothers and sisters-in-law, Floyd and Leona Hewitt, Lavern and Margaret and Isabelle, all of Plum City; sister and brother-in-law, Leona and Myren Foss of Burbank, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Sophia Hewitt, one brother, Harry and three sisters, Lucille, Mrs. Herman Blomstrom, Luella, Mrs. William Fetter, Lutrella.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 18, 1991 at United Methodist Church in Plum City. Rev. Terry Hettenbach officiated. Burial was in Free Home Cemetery Lunch was served at the church fellowship following services. Goodrich Funeral Home, Durand was in charge of arrangements.
