Edward H. Holt, 86, 333 N. West, died at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday in his residence.
He was born in Champaign County, Dec. 27, 1872. He retired from the Ohio Oil Company in 1938.
He married Emma Pfeifer Nov. 30, 1904. She survives.
Also surviving are a son, Byron E. of Ada; two daughters, Mrs. Ray Thomas of Wapakoneta and Mrs. Russell Tester of St. Marys, nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. Helen Widner, died Aug. 17, 1956.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Chiles and Son Chapel with Rev. Paul Runk officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
