Mrs. Dries was born in Rochester but had been a resident of the Dansville and Springwater areas before returning to the city in 1976.
Surviving are a son, Robert Williamson of Rochester; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Stevens of Rush; two brothers, Robert and Lawrence Yawman of Rochester; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A service was conducted Wednesday morning in the Chamberlin Funeral Home in Dansville with the Rev. Christopher Thomforde officiating. Burial was in Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville. (GCE, September 23, 1982, p7)
