ELKHART — Cynthia Kay Danner, 63, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013.
Cynthia was born Feb. 28, 1950, in Elkhart to Tom Ellis and Sarah (Jemison) Danner, who both preceded her in death along with two siblings, James Curry and Patsy Kyle.
Cynthia worked over 20 years at Carlton Manufacturing in upholstering. She was a longtime member of Canaan Baptist Church and her home church was Agape Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir.
Survivors left to cherish her memory include one son, Bryan Ellis (Tanesha) Bonner; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren all of Elkhart; two sisters, Minnie Mae Hale of Trenton, Tenn., and Jacqualine (Joe) Carpenter; two brothers, Ellis Jerome Danner and James David Danner, all of Elkhart; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Services for Cynthia Danner were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Agape Baptist Church, with the viewing occurring one hour prior to services at the church. Burial was at Rice Cemetery on July 27,2013.
Arrangements were entrusted to Alford's Mortuary.
