Mr. Becker was injured about 18 months ago in a car-pedestrian accident at Amarillo, Texas and had been in a coma since.
Mr. Becker was a heavy equipment operator. He was an Army veteran. He was born Jan. 9, 1948 at Horton, the son of Leonard and Zita Marie Winkler Becker. He was graduated from Wetmore High School.
Mr. Becker was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Hiawatha.
Survivors include his parents, Leonard and Zita Becker, Hiawatha, and a brother, Dennis W. Becker, Lawton, Okla.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Ann's Catholic Church here. Burial will be in Wetmore Cemetery. Mr. Becker will lie in state at Brown County Mortuary in Hiawatha where wake services will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.
