Stone, Elmer Age 85 years. Passed away peacefully on Monday July 22, 2013, surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Sachiko, his parents, George and Ruby, 15 brothers and sisters. Elmer is survived by his children, Betty (Robert) Weeks, Helen (Jeff) Paige, Edward (Tamara) Stone and Sally (Steven) Olson, grandchildren, Kurt (Heather) Weeks, Angela O'Neal, Tara (Luke) Miller, Craig (Liz) Stone, Rhiannon Clouse, Adam Gardner, Erin Stone, Derek Stone and great-grandchildren, Anaiya, Gabriella and Riley, sisters, Delores and Edith, special friend, Mutzi, Raymond and Toshiko, Fumi and Chuck along with other relatives and friends. Elmer retired from American Motors/Chrysler Corporation in 1986. He spent his retirement years crafting his woodworking skills to build unique furniture items for family and friends, wooden toys for the grandchildren and anything else he could make from wood. Elmer enjoyed working on cars, gardening, keeping his lawn green and tidy. He also enjoyed making the yearly batch of his famous Stone Family Pickles and let's not forget all the Labor Day weekends spent picking, peeling and canning oh so many quarts of tomatoes! Elmer was truly a man of many different self-taught talents. The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Dr. Prewitt, Dr. Hubley, the nursing staff at CMH 2nd and 5th floor and especially the ICU staff. Also, "Thank You" Elizabeth, Laura and Tawanda from Tamarack Place for the care and compassion given to Elmer. Visitation will be Sat., July 27, at the Funeral Home from 1 PM until time of Funeral Service at 4 PM. Private Entombment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.
