MRS. EUGENE KONRAD
A lifelong resident of the Custar area, Mrs. Eugene Konrad (Mary Meder), 65, died Tuesday at 2:45 p.m. at home. She had suffered form heart trouble for six years but was bedfast only three weeks.
The daughter of Adam and Regina Meder, she was born in Middleton Township Dec. 26, 1888. She was married Jan 25, 1910, in Custar, where she was a member of the St. Louis Catholic Church.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Clara) Kline, of Hoytville; Mrs. David (Frances) Goris, Mrs. Virgil (Pauline) Rahrig, Mrs. Frank (Ruth) Goris, Mrs. Richard (Cecilia) Schlumbohm and MRs. Theodore (Agnes (Rahrig, all of Weston; sons Lawrence, of Bowling Green; Louis, of Grand Rapids; and Robert, at home. Charles another son, died earlier. There are 20 grandchildren. Surviving also are a sister Mrs. Clara Williams, of Bowling Green; and brothers, Leo Meder, of Pemberville; and Lawrence, of Randolph, N.Y.
The casket will be taken from the Loomis Funeral Home, Weston, to the residence this afternoon where friends may call. The funeral will be Friday at 9 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church, Custar. The Rev. Father William McGowan will officiate. Burial will be in St. Louis Catholic Cemetery.
