Mrs. Lee died Thursday, August 1, 2013 at a local hospital. She was born October 26, 1944 in Ada, Oklahoma to John Ray and Evelyn Bandy Lee. She lived in this area all her life and attended Latta schools. She graduated from Latta High School in 1962. She received a Bachelor's and Master's degrees from East Central University. She married Benny Eldon Jones. Mrs. Lee taught English, Speech and Library Science at Roff School until her retirement. She was a longtime active member of the First Free Will Baptist Church where she taught the Believer's Sunday School Class since 1995. She was a member of the Women's Ministry and had also served as the church secretary, treasurer and clerk for 8 years. She was a former member of the Oklahoma Education Association and the National Education Association. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kevin Lee Jones; and a brother, Marvin Lee.
