Larchwood, IA - Michelle M. "Duck" Warner, age 45, of Larchwood, IA died Wednesday, August 15, 2007, at the Avera-McKennan Hospice Unit in Sioux Falls, SD.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 18th at the Church of St. Mary's in Larchwood, IA, with Fr. Jeff Schleisman as Celebrant. Burial will follow at the Larchwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 17th from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roste Funeral Home of Larchwood.
Michelle Marie Warner was born May 6, 1962 in Sioux Falls, SD, the daughter of Jerome Joseph and Barbara Jean (Cranny) Viereck. She was raised in Larchwood, IA and attended the West Lyon Community School, graduating from high school in 1980.
After high school she began working at a nursing home for three years and then began working at Grand Lab in Larchwood, today known as Novartis. She was a member of The Church of St. Mary in Larchwood, Larchwood Women's Club, active with the Betterment Club of Larchwood and the Meadow Acres Country Club in Larchwood. She enjoyed golfing, reading, painting and spending time with her family and friends. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and for her unique laughter which gave everyone a smile.
Left to cherish her memory, her loving husband, two children, her parents, three brothers, father and mother-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and eight nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
