Robert C. Zuspann
Robert C. Zuspann, 55 of 712 S. 31t St., died Friday afternoon at his home following a sudden illness.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, with the Ref. Paul G. Heimer, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is after 2 p.m. today at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Sally; sons, Tim and Brian, both of Fort Dodge; daughter, Teresa Spencer, Fort Dodge; four grandchildren; brother Carl Zuspann, Fort Dodge; and sisters Marjorie Robbins, Fort Dodge, Marilyn Winterton, Livermore, and Sally Harrison, Fort Dodge. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and one sister.
Robert C. Zuspann was born March 5, 1937, in Fort Dodge. He attended schools in Fort Dodge. Following his education, he became employed for Glasscraft Boat Company. In 1956, he married Sally Post at Pomeroy. The couple established their home in Fort Dodge. He worked for Gus Glaser as a meat cutter for several years and was later employed with Swaneys Equipment Company. In 1979, he established Bob’s Auto Repair, of which he was the owner and operator at the time of his death.
He was a member of the Mixed Friday Night Bowling League.
