Anne passed away in the Boundary Hospital on June 24, 2010, just after her 86th birthday. She was born on June 14, 1924, in Grand Forks, B.C., to parents, Peter and Mary Evdokimoff, the youngest of five children. Anne attended Fructova School and lived her whole life in the Grand Forks area. On February 1, 1945, she was united in marriage to Henry A. Negraeff, and soon after settled in Almond Gardens where they farmed, built their home and resided until their passing. Anne loved her family, friends, relatives, neighbours and her home and beautiful garden. She was kind, compassionate, generous and always willing to help where she could.Anne was predeceased by her husband, Henry in 1997; father, Peter (1980); mother, Mary (1958); brothers: Peter (1917) and Bill (1980); sisters: Helen Planedin (1983) and Polly Rezansoff (1999). She is survived and will be sadly missed by son, John of Grand Forks; daughter, Mary (Richard) Currie; and grandson, Dan Currie of Duncan, B.C. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Pauline Demoskoff of Castlegar, B.C., and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.A prayer and funeral service were held on Monday, June 28, 2010, at the USCC Centre with Jerry Seminoff officiating. The Grand Forks Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements and interment was at the USCC Cemetery.
