Funeral Services for Dick Schnittjer
Funeral services for Dick Schnittjer, 66, were held at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday, July 12 at the Eyler Funeral Home in Clarion. Rev. David Quiner of Dows conducted the services. Interment was in the French Church Cemetery near Woolstock.
Mr. Schnittjer, who was a painter, died Monday morning at his farm home in Wall Lake township following a short illness. He was born Jan. 10, 1901 in Germany and came to this country in 1924. He was united in marriage to Anna Groothoff from Germany in 1929.
Surviving are his wife, four sons, Richard of Manitoba, Canada, Herbert and Edward of Clarion and Harold of Gait, three daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Esther) Keller of Blairsburg; Mrs. Merle (Eunice) Van Gerpen of Webster City and Mrs. Randy (Loraine) Kirstein of Clarion and six grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters residing in Germany.
CARD OF THANKS: We wish to thank the many friends and neighbors for their prayers, kind expressions of sympathy, for the food, memorials, cards and lovely flowers at the time of the passing of our beloved husband and father.
